Our Projects
Mill Ore Pile Storage Coating
When a large hardrock mine needed to replace corroded structural steel that covered their ore pile, we came in and lined the steel to prevent damage. Some were coated after installation, others prior to installation at a thickness of up to 6mm based on where they were to be installed.
Mill Ore Processing Equipment Coating
When a mill at a mine was completely re-engineered and new equipment installed, Custom Linings was selected to prep and line all the equipment prior to installation. It was an 18 month project with coating occurring at our facility and onsite.
Mill Tank Base Rehab
When a chemical storage tank, bolted to a concrete base, began to rust at a rapid rate, we came in and removed all the corrosion from the tank base, repaired the concrete and lined the tank and concrete to prevent further corrosion damage.
Salt Mine Shaft Lining
In 2014 Custom Linings provided its proven ground support system in a salt mine sump and bottom station to address deteriorating of the salt from water and air movement erosion. Application included a composite system and application direct to salt.
Transfer Station Pipe Insulation
When a large water transfer pipe at a mine (11,000 elevation) needed insulated, our system was selected. 80 mils of coating, 8” of insulation and 250 mils of coating to protect the insulation.
